Goldfish breathe life into Tokyo art exhibit
Artist Hidetomo Kimura's traveling "Art Aquarium" has landed in Tokyo for its tenth anniversary show. The exhibit features 130 custom built LED-lit fish tanks, showcasing around 5,000 goldfish and 3,000 other sea creatures.
Kimura's colorful displays work as both living ecosystems and elaborate moving images--each one designed to produce a psychedelic effect.

The 43-year-old artist comes from a long line of neon enthusiasts who have made, bought and exhibited neon works for four generations. When the Bracey family home finally reached critical neon capacity in 2008, Marcus and his father Chris decided to move their collection to this studio.
Around 1400 fixtures line the walls, accompanied by kitsch memorabilia that Bracey has collected from film sets and garage sales. There's just barely enough of room for a narrow walkway that winds through nearly four miles of suspended neon.
Each section of the junkyard showcases an era in the history of neon art and a chapter of the Bracey family history..

Competitors construct human towers
Competitors created human towers in Valls, Spain. The tradition, which dates back to the early 1700s, features teams working to assemble - and disassemble - a human spire without collapsing. The towers, called castells, can grow several stories high.
Stronger people secure a foundation for the structure, as lighter ones, sometimes children, make their way to the top. It’s up to the final climber to make it to the peak, raise their hand to the sky, then begin the journey down. The tradition began in Valls and is now a popular sport throughout Spain’s Catalonia region.
